On the eve of the Republican primary in Arizona, the Hispanic Leadership Network released its "Top 10 Facts about Hispanics in Arizona." In
Tuesday's primary, 18% of all eligible voters in Arizona will be Latinos. Below
are some additional facts about Hispanics in Arizona.
1.
Arizona's
total Hispanic population is 1,895,149 or 29.6% of the state's population (U.S
Census Bureau, 2010).
2.
Arizona
has the fourth largest Hispanic population nationwide (Pew Hispanic Center,
2011).
3.
Arizona
has 766,000 eligible Hispanic voters, which constitutes 18% of all eligible
voters in the state (Pew Hispanic Center, 2011).
4.
Approximately
39% of Hispanics in Arizona are eligible to vote (Pew Hispanic Center).
5.
In
Arizona, 79% of the White population is eligible to vote, whereas 39% of the
Hispanic population is eligible to vote (Pew Hispanic Center).
6.
Arizona's
unemployment rate stands at 8.7%; among Hispanics, the unemployment rate is
even worse at 13.4% (U.S. Department of Labor).
7.
In
the 2008 presidential election, President Barack Obama won 56% of the Hispanic
vote versus John McCain's 41% share (Pew Hispanic Center, 2008).
8.
In
the 2010 Arizona gubernatorial election, 71% of Hispanic voters supported
Democrat Terry Goddard over Republican Governor Jan Brewer, who got 28% of the
Hispanic vote (Pew Hispanic Center).
9.
In
the 2010 senatorial election, Hispanic voters favored Democrat Rodney Glassman
(57%) over Republican John McCain (40%), who won the election (Pew Hispanic
Center).
10.
Approximately
834,000 Hispanics live in poverty in Arizona. This number translates to 39% of
the overall Hispanic population in the state (U.S. Census Bureau, 2010).

This strange rich man is a "turncoat" from Strong Bush Republican to Strong Obama Supporter. Money Manager Charles Garcia is based in Florida, a friend of Jeb Bush and George W. Bush, he raised a lot of funds and moneys for the presidential campaigns of George W. Bush, Charles Garcia is considered one of the Top Hispanic Men in Business.
Charles Patrick García (born 1961) had recently started Garcia Trujillo LLC, a consulting, merchant banking, and venture capital firm where he is the Chief Executive Officer. He also publishes many books on leadership, motivation and going into Business.
Obama could even lose Florida and Ohio and get reelected.
Arizona and Missouri could be flipped to Blue ( Democrat Party ) - These six states : Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico and North Carolina are very possible for Obama.
Republican Candidates are pandering to extremists and Tea Party and will be rejected on general election time by Latinos.
